Nicolas Maure is appointed CEO of Groupe Renault Operations in Russia and CIS

Boulogne-Billancourt, March 25, 2021 - As of May 1, 2021, Nicolas Maure, currently EVP, Chief Turnaround Officer and member of Groupe Renault Board of Management (BoM), is appointed CEO of Groupe Renault Operations in Russia and CIS. He will report to Luca de Meo, CEO Groupe Renault.

TheGroup’s Turnaround mission will continue with the team reporting to members ofthe Board of Management.

“InRussia, the Group's second largest market in terms of production and salesvolumes with the Renault and LADA brands, the Renaulution is underway. We’refocusing on value creation and developing synergies for the benefit of ourbrands. Nicolas Maure's experience and knowledge of Russia and CIS will be anasset in this challenge. The Turnaround mission, led by Nicolas since September2020 with the objective of generating cash and returning to profitability by2023, remains an absolute priority for the company”, said Luca de Meo, CEO Groupe Renault.

Nicolas Mauregraduated from École Centrale de Paris (1983) and holds an MBA from INSEAD(1985), France.

Hejoined Renault in 2000 as Purchasing Director of the Parts and AccessoriesDivision, after a career at Valeo and Faurecia. He then became Director of theRenault Quality Plan in March 2003 and General Manager of Société deTransmissions Automatiques in September 2004. In September 2006, Nicolas Maurewas named Director of the Dacia Powertrain Plant in Romania. In August 2008, hebecame Vice President Powertrain at Renault-Nissan Purchasing Organization and,in March 2013, was appointed VP of Group Manufacturing Performance. In January2014, Nicolas Maure was appointed Managing Director of Groupe Renault Romaniaand CEO of Automobile Dacia.

InApril 2016, he became President & CEO of AVTOVAZ until May 2018. He thenbecame Chairman of the Board of Directors of AVTOVAZ in June 2019. In January1st, 2018, he is appointed SVP, Chairman of Eurasia Region.

InSeptember 2020, Nicolas Maure became EVP, Chief Turnaround Officer of Groupe Renault.In May 2021; he is appointed CEO of Groupe Renault Operations in Russia andCIS.
