BWTAlpine F1 Team is proud to mark Pride Month with a series of actions throughoutthe month of June and commits to promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion and embracingdiversity.
BWTAlpine F1 Team has renewed its successful partnership with Racing Pride, theinitiative to promote inclusion through motorsport, to promote key messages andseveral initiatives to further raise awareness and stand in solidarity with theLGBTQ+ community.
Throughoutthe month of June, a series of allyship symbols will be visible throughout theteam’s sites from the Progress Pride Flag flying proudly at both factories atEnstone and Viry Chatillon, to all employees being invited to wear lanyards toshow their support.
TheAlpine A523 cars will run with the Progress Pride Flag during all race weekendstaking place in June in Spain, Canada, and Austria. BWT Alpine F1 Team partner Castrol will alsodemonstrate their support for the LGBTQ+ community with a special Castrol Pridelogo on the Alpine A523.
Aworkshop open to all in Enstone and in Viry Chatillon, run by Racing Pride andBWT Alpine F1 Team’s Diversity & Inclusion Group will see employees listento and participate in discussion panels and one-on-one exchanges.
Theteam will also welcome motorsport fans from the LGBTQ+ community this summerfor a factory discovery tour at Enstone.
Sincelast year, meaningful initiatives have taken place to continuously promotediversity and inclusion at BWT Alpine F1 Team. Diversity and Inclusion allyshiptraining sessions have been introduced and have taken place with all employeesover the past few months.
