As a result of this partnership, SQY will become ashowcase for the breakthroughs that Mobilize is offering cities and regions, throughits partners supplying technology and working in close contact withcommunities, such as Logiroad.
The study, which will be delivered to SQY at the endof the first quarter of 2023, is based on five services that Mobilize hasdeveloped with support from Renault Group’s engineering and digital teams:
·to assess thequality of roads and thereby optimise roadworks scheduling
·to identify anarea’s accident-prone areas in order to prioritise upgrades and evaluate theirimpact
·to ascertain theextent to which roads contribute to noise levels and prioritise the upgrades toreduce it
·to combine dataincluding traffic, driver behaviour (speed, braking, etc.), vehicle engine ormotor, vehicle production year and road condition with information relating topollution in order to help cities reduce their NO2 and PM10emissions
·to analyse an area’sgeography and EV drivers’ habits in order to suggest the best strategy forcharging stations (location and number)
"Forseveral years now, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines has been gathering momentum andbuilding its reputation as a land of innovation and digital transformation. Today, with Mobilize, SQY wants to put data at the centre of the conversation aboutthe smart and sustainable city it aims to become, to encourage changes inbehaviour and to treat all users to more innovative and efficient publicservices. We set in motion, encourage, try out and, when the findings areconclusive, roll out projects that meet the needs of the people living andworking here. This is our approach to innovation in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines,”says Jean-Michel Fourgous, President of the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelinesconurbation.
“We are very proud to team up with SQY.It shows the trust we have earned in a community that has strong ties with RenaultGroup and that is well known for its pioneering initiatives. SQY will thusbecome the showcase for the first five data-based services that Mobilize hasdeveloped for communities in order to facilitate decision-making, be it todevelop or redevelop roads, improve road safety or reduce noise and pollutionlevels,” addsFedra Ribeiro, CEO ofMobilize.
