The Alpine F1 collaboration will be a complement to the Joint Ventureunder preparation for Renault Group and Plug Power to explore opportunities forhydrogen solutions in on-road vehicles as part of its commitment to sustainablemobility. In January 2021, the Renault Group and Plug Power announced thesignature of a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop the hydrogenpowertrain for light commercial vehicles in Europe, targeting 30% share ofmarket, in line with Groupe Renault CEO Luca de Meo’s strategic vision detailedin Renaulution in January.
