Boulogne-Billancourt,April 29, 2020 – Renault’s Board of Directors, meeting today under the chairmanshipof Jean-Dominique Senard, has appointed Mr. Joji Tagawa as a director proposedby Nissan. He replaces Mr. Yasuhiro Yamauchi, who resigned on April 23, 2020,for the remainder of the latter's term of office, i.e. until the 2022 GeneralMeeting. The General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on June 19, 2020 willbe asked to ratify the appointment of Mr Joji Tagawa.
Mr.Jean-Dominique Senard, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: "On myown behalf and on behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Mr.Yasuhiro Yamauchi for his commitment and contribution to the work of the Boardof Directors, both as a director representing Nissan and as a member of theStrategy Committee. I also welcome the arrival of Mr. Joji Tagawa to our Boardto continue the good dynamics of the relations between the Alliance members.”
The Boardof Directors also took into account the state of health emergency related tothe Covid-19 epidemic to decide, pursuant to the provisions of Order No. 2020-321of 25 March 2020, that the General Meeting of Shareholders convened on Friday June19, 2020 at 3 p.m. will be held without the physical presence of theshareholders and other persons entitled to attend.

Mr JojiTagawa’s biography
Joji Tagawa holds a degree in economics from KeioUniversity in Japan. He joined Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. In 1983. He held variousmanagement positions in the finance division, global public relations andinvestor relations division. In April 2006, Joji Tagawa was appointed OperatingOfficer, in charge of the finance division and investor relations division. FromApril 2014, he was Corporate Vice President of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.,responsible for investor relations division and Mergers & AcquisitionsSupport Department. Then he has been appointed as Senior Vice President ofNissan Motor Co., Ltd. from December 2019.
